A naan recipe involves mixing maida or whole wheat flour with active dry yeast(optional),pinch of baking soda , 1/2 spoon of sugar , salt, and water. The dough is kneaded for a few minutes, then set aside to rise for a few hours. Once risen, the dough is divided into balls, which are flattened and apply black and white teel, grated carrot , finely chopped coriander and apply water at plain part stick it to the pan and invert it next to flame ,move pan slowly around so that naan cooks well. once done, apply butter or ghee and serve it hot with gravy .
note : for preserving hot you need to wrap naan in foil paper so that it will remain hot while eating.
