Maddur Vada

 



Maddur Vada are crisp fried patties which are served as an evening snack in Karnataka(Mandya). You can say this snack is famous between the areas of Bangalore and Mysore . These Vadas are so tempting you cannot stop eating just one, This are usually served with coconut chutney.

Method for preparation :

* Take 1/2 cup of rice flour , 1/4 cup of rava , 1/4 cup of maida or Atta , Salt as per required .
* Next add ½ cup finely chopped onion, 1 to 2 finely chopped green chillies, 6 chopped curry leaves and 3 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves, fried chrushed groundnuts and cashewnuts, little til.
* Mix well and take a small pan heat a oil or ghee (1 -2spoon) and pour it in the mixture.
* Mix it with the help of spoon and add little water and make a dough.
* Take a small portion out of it and make a ball shape ,flatten it and deep fry those Vadas.
* Maddur Vadas is ready ,can serve hot with coconut chutney.
