For making this recipe :
* Dry roast 1 spoon of coriander seeds, 1spoon of chana dal, 1 spoon of urad dal , 1 spoon of jeera , 4to5 methi seeds, ½ spoon of pepper, 3 cardamom, 1 small inch cinnamon, 4 cloves, 2 spoon dry coconut,roast them until spices get nice aroma .
* Add 1 spoon of oil add dry red chilly 4 quantity can add up to your spice level fry them till crisp.
* Take all the roasted spices, crisped chillies, add small piece of hing , small tamarind, and grind it with the help of blender.
* Bisi bele baath powder is ready.
Note : do not add water while grinding. you can preserve it air tight container place it in fridge for a months.
* Now cook vegetables like beans, peas, potato, carrot , onions, peanuts, add water, pinch of turmeric and salt as per required, add ¾ cup of tamarind extract, boil for 10 mins.
*Further add 1 cup of cooked toor dal, 2 cup of cooked rice and 1 cup water.
*Add 4 spoon of bisi bisi bele baath powder and simmer for 20 mins.
*Pour the tempering with mustard and curry leaves & serve bisi bele bath with spicy bhoondi (khara bhoondi).
